BIBLE (ABEKA)
Students are taught Bible truths that will help them understand God’s Word and help to prompt them to respond to God’s Word from their hearts. Bible truths are taught in all aspects of the students’ classroom life. Choruses are sung to accent Bible lessons that are learned. Scripture memorization is also a vital part of this course. Chapel services are held weekly.
MATH (ABEKA)
In the Math course, students will learn to recognize and understand the concepts of numbers. By the end of the year, they will be able to count from 1 to 100 and to recognize numbers 1-20.
PHONICS and READING (ABEKA)
The Phonics and Reading course introduce students to the vowels, consonants and their sounds through enjoyable classroom teaching. They will learn to form blends and read simple words. In reading circles, the children continue to learn phonics and begin reading words and sentences aloud.
MANUSCRIPT WRITING (ABEKA)
The Writing course teaches the student how to write the letters of the alphabet. Students will write letters, blends, words and numbers.
READINESS/ART SKILLS (ABEKA)
In the Readiness/Art Skills course, the student uses fine motor skills (coloring, cutting, gluing, etc.), following directions, visual discrimination, listening and thinking skills.
